"the path to creating your masterpiece begins with vision"
Born in Kingston Jamaica and raised under a tin roof with his siblings and cousins It was realized very early in his life that he possessed natural drawing abilities. After moving to America, Coach was again recognized by his teachers as a gifted young artist and taught separately from other children. Most of his work was focused on drawing the human body, it fascinated him how complex yet simple it was. throughout middle school, he won many art awards and a summer scholarship in Buffalo NY for the most talented middle school artists in America.
In his teen years as a 155 pounds 6-foot tall string-bean "Coach" also began to discover his athleticism and started running track and playing American football. He excelled in track and was a dual-position starter on his football team. when it came time for college he declined a few scholarship offers to leave home and NY to escape the challenges that were there for a freer and more optimistic chance at life.
At ETSU and later GMU, he succumbed to the flaws inherent in the athletic training system. Through continuous yearly training-related injuries his dreams were sidelined, and the dream of becoming a professional athlete was over. Things were further compounded when he was involved in two traumatic car collisions and sustained a serious back and neck injury which lasted for 3 years.
After the failure of the chiropractors and numerous medical professionals, who insisted he would never recover fully, He began his quest to find if there was a different way. He began questioning why so many training injuries could happen to him and more importantly, why no one could fix them or the accident-related ones. "Invention is the mother of necessity" He began looking at the issue as an artist and questioning the true purpose of training and added his gift of detailed observation and an artist's quest for knowing the "why" behind every line and shape. He gradually realized that the methods used in his rehabilitation and strength training process were flawed in their expression and thoroughness. With this revelation, the first step to "the WAY method" was born.
After many years of refinement through self-analysis and training collegiate and then professional athletes, he organized his methodology into a system that redefines conventional practitioner practices. "One of the reasons his method is successful is that he views each person as a unique individual in only the way an artist of his ability can." He recognizes that the differences that make us uniquely us, are what at times cause our problems. He corrects them or works around them so as to take nature's design and improve upon its weak points leaving the body fully balanced and symmetrical.
With the realization that nothing is perfect, he continues to redefine his method daily.“The body is so beautifully complex that to truly understand it will take more lifetimes than I have... but I'm working on it”.
If you can train with him, you will also realize one of the things that all his clients will agree to... Kevin is intensely passionate about what he does; after all, what artist isn't passionate about their work?

I brought Kevin a very blessed, athletic young man in the fall of 2006; we left Kevin in the Spring of 2009 with a full-ride athletic/academic scholarship to Stanford University.
I am writing this to THANK YOU for all that you have given Drew to help him accomplish his goals. He has always been very athletic, extremely competitive, and honestly...too smart for his own good. But since meeting you and becoming a die-hard Core Facility believer he has broadened mentally and physically in all areas of his life. Drew is a responsible, respectful young man and I believe that your influence and guidance have helped him in ways we will never be able to repay. You are a phenomenal guiding force for any athlete who strives for perfection. The workouts were not only a physical accomplishment but quickly became a mental challenge that only the best athletes can endure and thrive from. No training he will ever encounter at the next level or above could do for him what his time at the Core Facility has done.
Drew's senior year started and ended with a shower of accolades and awards. Here are just a few.

Age is what you make of it. 40+ year old Client and Owner of SIP coffee and Beer garage / SIP coffee and Beer House, speaks about our training
No matter the sport, it takes skill and attention to detail. The better you know your equipment, the more efficient and effective you will be.
Hi everyone, my name is Nicole. May I start by saying that I am 20 years old and have been a gymnast (2004 Olympic contender) for most of my life, you can check out some of the stuff I do by just typing my name: Nicole Harris into Youtube.com
I retired from gymnastics and am looking to put my abilities to work in the entertainment industries. In doing so I knew I would have to pick up a new workout regimen that didn't include all the painful body pounding and such.
I met Kevin Turner of The Core Facility and was immediately impressed by his enthusiasm, dedication, and knowledge. I have found that personal trainers are very quick to be anything but personal when it comes to your root well being. Not Kevin! He is so great at showing he cares for his clients. His interest in me and all the others I trained with was remarkable.
The neatest part of Kevin's profession is the method he came up with himself! Here is an excerpt from thecorefacility.com" We have designed a program that is not meant to compete, but to educate and establish a foundation for all fitness regimens. The WAY Method has been created to allow the individual to establish a clearer connection between the body and mind."
The introduction page goes on to state "The goal is to be able to control single fibers of muscle or groups of muscle independently of one another so as to create a combined strength greater as a whole. The training is focused and unlike any other, it is comprehensive and complete. You will learn the essentials of weight training and how to truly benefit from your workouts and develop a leaner and stronger you."
I may be a first class witness to this. As you can imagine, I have been on a search for a challenge, something that would spark my love for exercise again. I thought for sure I knew it all when it came to working out, since I had been doing it all my life. However, just beginning my workouts with Kevin and the staff at The Core Facility has opened my mind up to all the possible functions exercise really can do besides make you strong.
If you are near this area or ever coming to town for a trip, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND giving the greatest program I have yet to see and try. It will give you incredible knowledge you can take away and train with on your own for the rest of your life!

Dear Kevin:
Words cannot express how much you have done for me. Your persistence and dedication in Training surpass any other trainer I have never had. I owe you my life and that is the truth. You know that I came to you a few days after my operation correction, the operation I almost had, and the poor doctor couldn't operate for fear I would not survive.
Finding you out of the whole Internet was the hand of God!
Kevin with your training, yelling, screaming and that Indian wave dance you do (p.s. we never got rain) “ok” and teaching me a new way of eating (I know it’s not a diet)
I have lost over 50 lbs, my doctor said I no longer have sugar diabetes and will now take tests to get off high blood pressure pills and cholesterol pills as well. I forgot, I lost that weight in only 3 in half months, boy your good.
There are so many people out there who need a Kevin!
You know I stayed longer just for you to train me. I begged my husband and of course he won, I must go home.
Most of all I will miss your smile and the yelling at me, which made me, push myself further and also I made a good friend.
Thank you for the training and thanks from the bottom of my heart.
Love Rosales and Rose
