This system has been developed through a keen eye for observation and a depth of knowledge wrought from over 30 years of practical experience garnered through the development of some of the highest caliber athletes.
Unlike most training systems that regurgitate antiquated movements that are better suited for olympic lifter, we have realized that there are many moving parts to "body optimization/performance training" that are missing from todays routines. Our philosophy stands on the notion that strength through isolation movements are the foundation to developing clearer neural pathways to the muscle being trained, subsequently this leads to a quicker and fuller response of said muscle. This in turn leads to greater overall response to groups of muscle that coordinate to move the body more quickly due to a more developed pathways.
(one's proficiency with a particular hand over another is due to the neural pathways developed from consistent concentrated use, the more focused the developed use the better the use of that appendage.)
With the addition of stability, plyometrics, stretching and a variety of lesser known exercises, an increase in all factors of body optimization will translate on the field or court as excellence in motion. (COACH)
Since our inception, removal of all footwear has been paramount to our training. This is not a trend for us, we have had this in our system since the opening of our facility. A deeper understanding of the "WAY" will reveal our reasoning, but simply put... Shoes were made to protect us from the rigors of the outside world but they have evolved to unwittingly become a crutch that supports a body that was designed to be strengthened through constant challenges. Removal of your footwear allows your body to begin stabilizing and strengthening from the bottom up.
